Looking for a good book to read?

Looking for a good book to read? You found the right place! I love Young Adult Literature and love recommending interesting titles to my students even more. This blog will recommend titles of YA Literature that I have recently read and want others to discover as well. Enjoy! Under each post is the "Comment" option. Feel free to share your opinions about each of the books so that other students can read your opinions as well.

You might have noticed the recent makeover each of the posts got. I rearranged the posts so that the summaries are hidden. If you are curious about a book and want to know more about it, click on "Read more >>", the summaries are hidden there for more information. Have fun!

Summary: Mitch, short for Michelin Man to describe his figure, has a real name but nobody remembers it.  In fact, nobody really ever notices him.  But Mitch has big goals that will guarantee that people will notice him - he is going to become an ace reporter.  During his senior year, he is sure that he will be able to show off his talent in the school newspaper but is sidelined when he is assigned to cover sports.  Just when he thinks there won't be any stories worth reporting he sees Angel Marichal at a pre-season practice.  Angel is one of the most talented players Mitch has ever seen, but he is continually benched.  It becomes obvious that both the player and Coach McNulty are hiding something.  Is there a story there?  Maybe a coverup?  Mitch is determined to find out and prove his reporting skills to everyone.
